BECCA Cosmetics Foundation for a Flawless Face + Tutorial

post featured image

Believe it or not when we hit a certain age less is truly more. The right products will definitely take you to the next level. Some of us tend to believe that if we add a bit more of this and a tad more of that we’ll look just perfect but truth is if we apply the right stuff on the right spot our inner beauty will shine and people will compliment your skin rather than your makeup!

That’s one more reason why I’m loving this BECCA Cosmetics foundation trio! Once I tried them I was instantly in love and better yet my skin was glowying and feeling young and fresh, and who doesn’t want that??  BECCA Cosmetics are known for their amazing collection of highlighters but I wasn’t super familiar with their skin stuff so I was curious to play with the products and end up being pleasantly surprised!

BECCA Soft Kabuki Brush

Disclaimer: I’m a huge brush addict, especially kabuki brushes. This one doesn’t fall short from any of my favorite pro brushes. It’s soft bristles work perfectly well with powders and creams. I tried this with my blush, highlighters and even softening concealers. It’s a 10 all the way. I love the fact that it stands up too. Final thoughts it’s my go to tool for a soft classy face!!!

BECCA Soft Light Blurring Powder

I’m not usually a powder person, there’s just a few powders I enjoy out there and then I tried this super fine milled soft powder and it quickly became my go to for everyday makeup. I first apply the BECCA first light filter face primer, a MAC pro-longwear concealer (shade 25 in NC and NW, depending on the look I want to achieve) or for an even more natural look I love Chanel Correcteur Perfection concealer (my shade is 40)and this soft blurring powder. I love how it doesn’t set in my fine lines, much to the opposite, it helps to blur them all day long. The packaging is a huge bonus! Perfect vanity candy!!

BECCA First Light Filter Face Primer

I’m so amazed by this primer! For starters It smells delish and feels super lightweight and refreshing on the skin. Second it really does look like a gentle filter has been applied to skin. I don’t even wear foundation anymore just a tad of concealer, it’s that good! Another good use for it is to dilute a thicker concealer on it. It looks truly flawless.

This is my before & after BECCA Cosmetics foundation photo:

Both of these were edited with the same filter (for darkening the background purposes) however I did not touch the skin, what you see is the real deal! My skin after is the result of the video you saw up in the beginning of the post and it has no foundation whatsoever (this is solely BECCA’s primer, a MAC high coverage concealer and BECCA’s soft blurring powder)

These products were complimentary via Influenster.

I hope this throughly BECCA Cosmetics Foundation review was helpful and inspired you to try new products and go for a more natural look this spring! Don’t hesitate to ask any question you might have 🙂
