LookBook: The White Shirt Combo!

As many of you already know I'm a big fan of black & white, but also love them on their own ;D     So, the simplest but sure sharp way of looking cute/put together is not only the LBD but the LWS (little white shirt, hehehe) as well! A crisp white shirt looks great with any color of the rainbow jean, slacks skirts and shorts...pretty much anything goes. We saw the some huge ruffles last season but now it's time to set them aside for awhile and play with styles a bit more low-key, we're still seeing the silky flowy pieces but slightly tailored and the boxy cuts are also in. Which is your favorite LWS style???This beautiful shirt is Aryn K. and retails for $110 (an absolute steal!) and the bootcut dark denim…

LookBook: Casual Friday :)

If you work or have worked in an office/corporation at some point in your life chances are you are pretty familiarized with the 'Casual Friday' term. Even though there's no such thing in the fashion biz ( or retail) I felt like wearing denim today (whole look!) and pay homage to those stuck behind the desk - I mean you can have a ton o fun on Fridays lovelies!!!! So you can start with a light colored denim ensemble and make it edgy with studded accessories in a dark color if you happen to be feeling that way...I chose a romantic combo of bow nude/ rosy belt on top of my western looking shirt and nude shoes, muted but sweet!!! On top I chose a faux fur in the same hue of the rest…

LookBook: The Rolled Up Pant

In my world rolled up skinny pants are chic and sophisticated, it looks put together too but w a bit of an edge. Denim is a year round staple and when it comes in the slim form it flatters every body type (seriously!). All you need to do is play with the top.   Here's a few examples of what to pair up  with your rolled up denim:*Blazers for all body types*A button down shirt (oxford, denim or even silk) are also nice picks, if you are busty leave the mid to top buttons open and wear a cami underneath, if you are fuller around the stomach area, loose the belt and add chunky necklaces to draw attention up.*Tweed jackets are cute for the boyish bodies, those who don't have much of a waist,…

LookBook: The Pastel Look with Mermaid Skirt!

Are you a big fan of the nudes and pastels but needs a little something to spice things up? Like the romantic style but needs a bit of an edge?! Well, this is a look for you my darling ;)  I got this Forever 21 skirt and was hesitant on what to wear with it, I didn't want the typical "cutesy look" or an "all over sparkles" type of thing, so to add an edge to it and a strong color I paired the skirt with a silk cream blouse (romantic style) with chocolate brown accessories, such as a fedora hat, peep toe oxfords and a thick leather belt!! Hope you enjoyed this look and get inspired to try on some risqué add-ons. Since it's pretty cold outside I paired my outfit with…

By now you've heard all kinds of names for the good old burgundy...oxblood, chianti, Bordeaux, cherry, cranberry, etc, etc...the point being this warm hue is EVERYWHERE literally! LookBook: 50 shades of grey!

Well, not really 50 but a few ;)   I'm not sure those books had anything to do with this but I'm guessing it's part of the Zeitgeist! Whatever the reason the fact is that greys are hotter than ever just in time for the colder season...and even though I can rock these shades best when my hair is darker I still thought it was worth a try and got a "Hello space girl!" from hubby when I got home from work!!!Earrings Rachel Roy    If you've watched my smoky eye tutorial I said I almost never use the black palette, so I thought I'd clarify that by showing you when I actually do this black version! It just went perfect with my sci-fi  look!!! HeheheheNo filter pic, to show u exactly what this amazing…

LookBook: When we lack snow, we wear skirts!

And high heels, and silk blouses, etc, etc, etc....   When you live in a resort town that survives from it's tourism -especially in the winter season, you pray everyday for God to bless it with lots of snow! I almost don't recognize myself saying this since I pretty much enjoy snow on Christmas day and that's about it. Well, well we live and we learn to enjoy things we never thought possible and now I catch myself crossing my fingers for that very expected white powder falling from the sky!!!! While waiting I'm taking advantage of this snowless weather and wearing little skirts, high heels and silk blouses (pretty off-limit when it's snowy out there!)   As a side note, I'm loving the winter whites trend, so refreshing from the regular dark palette of…

iTube: The Smoky Eye!

Today's video is about the smoky eye, I absolutely love it for any occasion, a lighter or stronger version would be the variant but either way the smoky eye is a must know when it comes to make up! On my video I'm using a brown palette by MAC and I usually recommend warmer pallets for brown, hazel and green eyes and cooler palettes for blue, gray and black eyes. That doesn't mean you're stuck with these colors for life, I'm all for being trendy and trying new things, these are just the most complimentary colors for your eyes ;) This is a BAD screen shot from the video, just so you can see what's going to look like! Enough of bla bla bla and let's get to the make up!!! [youtube_sc url=MyHHG8f46Ls] Products…
