Fringe Mania

Lets talk spring trends for a minute, well maybe I should say lets talk about THE spring 2015 trend: FRINGE!!!Fringe is being incorporated everywhere, from handbags, to jackets, dresses, skirts, shoes and lots of other fashion accessories. I honestly thing it's too much when paired together put can't deny it's a huge statement piece in any wardrobe. I recently invested in a fringed skirt (my good bye gift from BCBG!) and boy I'll tell you, it turns heads my friends...all the time!!! If you don't want to take center stage I recommend you stick with fringe in any accessories that are a little more discreet. But if you are up for attention the flow of this skirt is nothing but flawless, it moves like you're dancing, such a treat for the eyes!!! Here's the look;Bcbg…

Studio NTK @ the Pattern Store

Busy week so far and about to get busier, gosh how many more activities can we fit in in a family life, between kids, work, time together and extra curricular activities little time is left to socialize but I was lucky enough to be able to make it to my friend Nataliya's reveal of her collection at the Patten Store this past Wednesday. It was a small intimate get together and I was happy to see some of the familiar beautiful faces and meet new ones! Here's a short story in pictures of our eve at the Pattern Store at Mass Ave.   Quick sneak peek from backstage. Nataliya chose four pieces to be highlighted on the runway. What called my attention at first was the texture of the fabric and the hardware she…

Once Upon a Time…

There was a sweet little blush tee with teeny tiny sparkles and I simply felt in love....that was about 12 years ago, when I arrived to the States! I was completely broke and that little tee was a total splurge. For starters it was from Express and I could only afford Old Navy and Fashion Cents, well regardless I can honestly say it was a major hit, at least for me. The tee still exists and I still rock it, it's neutral and basic yet adds that much charm to my outfits! Here are two looks I wore recently wearing this cutie :) (more…)

It’s an Outfit Extravaganza!

And they are all for sale at the Indy Fashionista Etsy shop girlfriends!!!! A lot of girls share the same love for dressing up and being cute but only a handful are true to a style aesthetic, meaning they identify with it and follow that path no matter what. In Eutemia's case she found herself in the sexy kitten little numbers, and when I say little i mean it! This collection of styles reflect what Eutemia herself wears which ranges from teeny tiny dresses, to longer but body-con pencil dresses and boho pieces. I wore a few of them and we had a ball taking each others pictures in the mini photo-sesh we had here at home. Boho printed dress $45 Strapless bow jumpsuit $40 Bathing suit cover up $40 this guy have been…

I must share my happiness to have finally found a little time to see my girls and hang out while being able to try out the "Oh-so-talked-about" Delicia (the newest restaurant hot spot in Indy!), must also mention it is delish indeed! So to make a long story short we loved Delicia so much we're planning a monthly trip there to try all of the decadent gourmet dishes from their Latin Cuisine style menu, now I'm no food expert my friends, I'm just a fashion lover and enthusiast who happens to cook really well and have a taste for the good stuff (if you are doubting, ask hubs! Besides my fashion sense, my cooking skills are also another good trait I inherited from dad....along with lots of the bad ones! Hahahaha) Well back to…

Coralina – The Monochromatic Fever!

Hey guys, so even though I haven't posted my Spring Trend Report just yet, I've been studying it everyday. From the street styles to the runway crazes my favorite so far is the monochromatic looks that have been spotted everywhere in Europe and fashionistas all over the world. Inspired by such trend I put together this Coral/Orange/Tangerine (call it whatever you'd like!) look. The main idea is to gather pieces of the same color group and work them together     The pant is a deeper orange than the cardigan which goes more to a pastel hue but they're both orange. I happened to have a belt with the same color of the cardi but if you don't, not to stress, use a complimentary color, blue in the case of orange and it will…

Get ready for the Holidays with Picks from the Locals!

[caption id="attachment_2632" align="alignnone" width="640"] adstylehouse.com[/caption] I am so very flattered to have been invited by Julia from the Aesthetic Design Style House and other local Indy  designers that I admire so much such as Nataliya Kitic and Truen Jaimes to name a couple, to have my picks from their holiday catalog. So here are the pieces that would make me a happy gal: I love the Stela Dress from Studio NTK, which has pleather accents. The nicest thing is that it is all made in Indiana. It doesn't get any more local than this! [caption id="attachment_2387" align="aligncenter" width="203"] Stela Dress, Studio NTK $92Also available in black with black and black with brown pleather accent.[/caption]    I would accessorize the dress with this AMAZING clutch from the House of 5th.
