NOLA Outfit Roundup

Hello hello ladies and gents! Gosh if you’re on insta chances are you followed along our anniversary trip to NOLA. I’m still in awe about everything we saw and did….and ate and drank! Hahaha great food guys, very dangerous!!!!

Ok so while I am in fact planning a NOLA post with the attractions and favorite places to see and eat, I decided to split this post in two because the outfits alone made a whole story of its own. So many gorgeous backdrops between the French Quarter and the Garden district…you shall see them 🙂

Starting off with the softest most comfy jumpsuit I picked to travel with. Performed perfectly and I brought along a denim jacket in case it got too cold in the plane.

I ended up wearing it for most of the day and changing only when we went out that night.

Had to have a shot of our fab suite door! Feeling fancy here!! Hehehe

I love this blouse with jeans or shorts, I decided on jeans at night though. These are ZARA, sold out sorry but I found a ton on sale for $23.

Next day we had brunch at the hotel, which was lovely btw. And wore the cover up I got in Brazil a few months ago. Also thinking how happy I am to have gotten this straw bag in Cabo too. I would not have imagined how popular they would become so get the bag next time you’re somewhere visiting!!!

I was seriously obsessed with the street names in tiles on the ground…as you can tel!!! Hehehe

For pool time I was excited to wear my stripey one piece suit I got for the biggest bargain ever!!!

We took a historical tour of the French Quarter in a Horse Carriage. I filmed some of it and will look into uploading some of our tour by the next part of the post! So I wore something comfy for the ride 🙂

No excitment on these outfits but the backdrops……man oh man, can’t get enough!! This casual look I wore for dinner that night. Can’t wait to tell yu about the place we hit that day….so good we went back for breakfast the following morning!

On our actual anniversary day 3, we rented bikes and went for a ride at the Garden Distric and around the French Quarter. So much to see, we only stopped because we had dinner reservations in one of the best places in town….also can’t wait to tell you about it!!!!

The cutest courtyard ever!!!!

I must add quickly that courtyards are found in almost every house in the French Quarter, it’s a French thing indeed. And there’s nothing more relaxing and soothing than to seat by the water fountain and listen to the sound of the water dripping!!

Changed into my shorts for the bike ride. I also brought along my Holly & Tanager “The Pro” backpack (if you love it like me, use code FRIENDSFAMILY15 to get 15% on any bag you purchase), it fit my water bottle, extra shoes, camera, etc! PS: this is not propaganda guys, I truly LOVE this bag!!!

By the end of our trip I need a change of shirt (a.k.a. excuse to buy clothes at the cutest Free People in town!) I picked up the cutest pieces…

At night we had dinner at the GW Fins but that is for another post, amazing food….no words! Our Hotel Maison Dupuy (amazing btw, huge thanks for treating us so beautifully!!!) hosted a wedding the night before so we took advantage of the arch outside and took a couple pics os us, celebrating our lucky 13th!!

Walking around we came across the charming Hotel St. Pierre and I thought the facade was the perfect backdrop for this look! What do you think?!

Last day we had breakfast at Stanley’s  right at the Jackson Sq. and I wore a casual knit black dress. Super comfy to store all the good food we had been eating all of these last 4 days!!!

We walked around that morning and sat at a corner café to have our last Bloody Mary! Hehehe later on changed and headed to the airport! I wore the Free People shirt I bought along w white denim, failed to snap a pic!! Hope you get the picture 😉

Guys, I truly hope you enjoyed this post. It’s fun when there’s a lot of looks but also takes me a loooong time to get it all together so let me know if you enjoyed and hope you have an amazing weekend!!

Beijos,

-K
