NYFW day 3: Tibi Show, Parties, Hang-outs!

post featured image

I know that some of you might be like, oh no NYFW again?! Hahahaha I thought about combining both my third and fourth days in one last post. BUT if you’re anything like me, I’m sure you were looking forward to more! The posts are lengthy and they would be gigantic if I posted 2 in 1. It’s hard to please everyone, so hopefully you’re still here 🙂

Day 3 consisted of shooting looks in the morning just around the Soho area. I mean when we have the whole city as a backdrop we don’t need to “go” anywhere!!

This ChicWish sweater has been on major repeat and even though I initially thought of it for fashion week, I was wearing this guys waaaay before I went!

At noon we headed to Banana Republic where there was a presentation for Olivia Palermo’s latest collab collection. Upon arrival the line was already around the block and we did see a PETA movement right then and there….a bit scary but we’re glad it didn’t get close to where we were. Long story short, Nicole and I had a TIBI show to go (thanks to the Legend Amrapali ladies!!!) so we decided to hop on a Uber and head there. Turns out most people couldn’t go in to see Olivia since this was open to the public 🙁

When we got to the South Street Seaport neighborhood we were “greeted” by a Garden Bar and lots of hip families and couples chilling on a gorgeous saturday afternoon. By the show entrance we saw the likes of Camila Coelho (see below!) and Aimee Song from Song of Style!

Still can’t believe I got a snap with this girl!! Super sweet 🙂

Quite surreal to be there, so you can imagine it added that much more excitement! The way the show was set up and really cool and interesting, natural light poured in the place that had already white walls. So refreshing! Stunning collection, I’d totally wear everything in it!

Muah and Nicole at the TIBI show!

After that we tried to look for a cute place to eat but everything was so crowded in the area, typical NYC. So we headed back to the hotel and went for that authentic Italiano by our hotel. Awesome pasta dish, awesome vino and off we went to get ready to our parties!

I was the only one in our group going to the Reward Style Party at the rooftop of the gorgeous La Sirena Ristorante and I was nervouscited, more excited than nervous though as I was thrilled to have been invited, and even more to go and challenge myself to meet other bloggers and people in the industry! Needless to say the party was a blast, I met up with SO MANY of my instagirls crushes!

Now can I just tell you how much wowzers I got on this dress?!

So awesome to see my Girl Crushes at the RS party!! Sarah Knuth and Hollie Woodward.

LOVE these babes!!! That’s the one think I truly love more than anything else in the blogging world : meet the boss ladies! So much love and support and true caring I’m just overwhelmed!!! Cheers for community over competition!!!

At the end of the night I caught up with Amanda from @aglamlifestyle and Kelsey from ….. and we went to Dos Caminos in the Meatpacking District. I was craving a time to chill and talk about the business as well as have a spicy margs and some delish food! I just wanted to stop time and soak it all in that night 🙂

Back to the hotel the girls were back from their commitments and I was ready to hit le bed as I had a very ealry engagement at the Brooklyn Bridge….but that will be for the 4th and last day of NYFW! Stay tuned, and as always, thank you for sticking around and following my adventure along!

Beijos,

-K
