The Cat in the Hat

“A hat is a head covering. It can be worn for protection against the elements, for ceremonial reason, religious reasons, for safety, or as a fashion accessory.[1] In the past, hats were an indicator of social status.[2] In the military, they may denote nationality, branch of service, rank and/or regiment.[3] Some hats have a protective function. As examples, the hard hat protects construction workers’ heads from injury by falling objects, a sun hat shades the face and shoulders from the sun, and a Ushanka fur hat with fold-down ear-flaps keeps the head warm. Some hats are worn for ceremonial purposes, such as the mortarboard, which is worn during graduation ceremonies. Some hats are worn by members of a certain profession, such as the Toque worn by chefs. Some hats have a religious functions, such as the turban worn by Sikhs.” Wikipedia

I’m sure you all know what a hat is but I added this description because a hat can be so much more than a fashion accessory, I absolutely love hats and have been wearing them long before they became a “thing”, I probably get it from mom who’s also a hat kinda gal! Anyway, I’m thrilled that hats have become mainstream in the past few years simply because there’s so many more choices of styles and price tags I can’t get enough…

Whether you love hats or are a bit unsure here’s a fun video showing two different hat styles and a fun makeup tutorial for you to do when wearing your sombrero of choice amiga or trying some!!

All the products are being mentioned in the video, please let me know if you have any questions 🙂

And for the ladies who always ask me to show my look, here’s the outfit I wore with this makeup!!
