Tréstique Makeup Sticks

First off I love that Tréstique’s name was inspired by the French expression Trés Chic, yes one can say I’m easily impressed but who wouldn’t fall for these guys??

Besides the adorable packaging they all stand up on their own and are super practical for traveling or just for carrying around in my purse. I thought about bringing these at this time of the year to give you some simple ideas for holiday gifting.

My absolute favorite has to be the Florence Fig with Rose Balm lip crayon, it’s the perfect “happy” mauve I’ve ever tried on. The matte finish is my go to finish and the coolest thing is that it has a lip balm attached on the other end of the stick.

Another must have is the 16hr wear eye pencil. It glides on and it’s super pigmented, I was on the market for a brown long-wear eye pencil and I’m happy to say I’m sold on this guy. Especially after yesterday’s ultimate test. I decided to watch the Promises Documentary (if you haven’t seen please do yourself a favor and watch it immediately). I was wearing this look on the picture, all done with Trestique sticks. I cried a couple times but at the end I was literally bawling, and didn’t realize I was wearing make up until I looked in the mirror and this eyeliner stayed put throughout my weeping and rubbing my eyes repeatedly with my hands. I know it sounds crazy so I thought it was worth sharing! I’m also sharing the documentary because is that good and deserves to be watched especially if you have none or little idea of how the Israeli/Palestinian conflict began and is lasting and spreading till now a days. It’s from the perspective of 7 children “May we all have the courage to try to guide the next generation into a more peaceful, more understanding world.” – Promises Story Line

Lastly I got Tèstique Trèbebe contour kit, which comes in a little box perfect for gifting.

This photo is not filtered, so you can see accurately what the colors look like. I have to say they were my least favorite of all the goodies I got. I had to layer over and over to get the bronzer to show and that’s because I’m used to more pigmented powder bronzers. The highlighter is a lot like Benefit “Watt’s up” and my favorite out of this trio has to be the blush which is a creamy coral very natural. This will be a great gift for those ladies who like the “no makeup makeup” look, they have a very natural finish as you might be able to see on my picture!

*These products were sent to me by Trèstique as a courtesy to try, and review, opinions are solely mine*

It’s getting to be that time of the year again and I’m excited to bring to you with every post an idea of gifting yourself and/or others or even to give you ideas to just use what you have and have some fun!!
