You guys I’m so excited to finally share my tips and details of my jewelry with you today! I’ll be focusing on my Nordstrom finds as well as I’ll be linking similar styles of those items I have had for a long time! PS: Most of these are temporarily on sale, it’s the perfect timing to snag pieces you’ve been wanting for a while 🙂
My rule of thumb for every day is less is more. BUT for every rule, we have exceptions. I tend to favor minimal pieces, very thin and simple so I can layer and stack them without looking like I’m trying too hard!
I love layering necklaces and if you look around in my blog or Insta you’ll see I usually have two or three at a time all the time. My tip for layering necklaces is to buy the ones that can be adjusted or buy them in different lengths. I wear a 12″, 14″ and 16″ chain on my every day, that way they don’t hide each other and don’t tangle as much.
For today’s look, I picked a simple lariat that goes down low and because I wanted to eyes to stay focused on this delicate piece I opted for wearing it alone. Hammered discs are sprinkled throughout a delicate lariat necklace that adds light-catching shine to any neckline. 15 1/2″ length; 2 1/2″ extender; 5″ drop; 1/8″ bandwidth. 18k-gold plate or silver plate.
These guys are definitely the most asked question on my Instagram! I have 5 piercings in my right ear and 4 on the left. Like I said I love the delicate pieces because I can pile them up and they still feel airy and fresh!
My tip for layering earrings is to purchase good quality pieces for the extra holes that way you never take them off and they go with everything, it’s like your wedding ring, mine just become a part of me and I only switch one of them from time to time!
The ones I never take off are a mini hoop that goes through my second and third lobe piercings, and the pyramid in my tragus. I recently added a constellation crawler closer to my face and the original hole is the one I switch off from time to time, but most of the time you’ll see me with delicate thin pieces or tiny hoops!
My latest additions are these Zoe Chico bar earrings and the ear cuff. OBSESSED with them both! The delicate threader earrings embellished with slender 14-karat gold bars are great for going out but appropriate enough for the office. The edginess of a layered look with the ease of a single ear cuff, this handcrafted, 14-karat gold piece is your ticket to on-trend cool.
For the left ear, I put on the smallest little hoop, a gold and diamond lightning bolt and just added a gold and diamond triangle recently.
Same thing here, the thin ones can be stacked or spread around different fingers. I might add a bolder one depending on where I’m going! I’m also loving these that can be engagement rings on a budget!
Other everyday styles…
Thanks to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. Al styling and opinions are honest and my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me, friends! I hope this was helpful!!
