Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Beauty Guide

The iconic Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here—eeek! I always look forward to this event because the deals are truly worth shopping each year, and honestly, it seems like they continue to get better over time.

With that being said, I know that it can be overwhelming. Sorting through all the discounts and narrowing down your shopping list is time consuming. What picks are actually a good deal? What should you skip? My goal is that this blog post series will help you sort through all of those looming questions.

Aside from great shoe finds and fall wardrobe staples, one thing that’s definitely worth browsing during the Anniversary event are the beauty products. A lot of the discounts are on makeup and skincare sets, which offer great value and a prime chance to test out new products. I’d also recommend looking at the larger product sizes, which will really give you the most bang for your buck.

If I were to choose just one makeup set to treat myself to during the sale, this would be my top choice. It comes with the cutest little cosmetic bag and has just about everything you need for a simple, everyday look: A lash primer, full-sized mascara, and a glowy (and hydrating) lip balm. All you need is a little tinted moisturizer and you’ll be set!

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder & Brush Set

I rarely see this brand on sale, so this seems like a treat that’s worth taking advantage of. While you might think setting powders are an unnecessary step in your makeup routine, this one is fully worth taking the extra 30 seconds for. It makes your makeup look so much more polished, and it helps it to last longer without getting greasy (or creasy!)

Simplehuman Rechargeable Tabletop Mirror

It’s not a skin, hair, or makeup product, but this tabletop mirror is definitely something to consider adding to your cart. It has a flattering light and 5x magnification so you can see exactly where (and what) you’re applying.
