The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially underway, and I’m currently in Chicago with Bella browsing all the deals in person. I’ve been impressed by the range of brands included in this year’s event, especially when it comes to shoes.
While there are stellar finds in each category, I personally think that the shoe selections are one of the top choices to shop during the event. Typically, the shoes gear more toward fall and winter picks, with plenty of boots, sneakers, and flats to choose from.
I always encourage shoppers to lean more into the classic picks (rather than trendy pieces.) This will ensure that you get the most wear from each item, and that you’ll be satisfied with your decision in the long run.
In case you need a recap, I’m sharing the sale tiers and shopping dates below. Continue on for my top shoe picks so far…
Icons: July 9-14
Ambassadors: July 10-14

Reg. $100, Sale price: $79.99
I’ve mentioned this a couple times already, but these sneakers are hard to find in stock most of the time—let alone on sale. I haven’t seen this color combination before and I’m totally digging it as we inch closer to the fall months.
Reg. $478, Sale price: $299.99
Rag & Bone is a timeless and quality brand that makes products that last. Chelsea boots will never go out of style, and this creamy pair would look adorable with denim and a chunky knit sweater.
Reg. $295, Sale price: $219.99
Once again, the color is what reeled me in, but the shape, height, and universal look of these heeled sandals also makes them a winner. These would be great to wear from day to night!
Reg. $375, Sale price: $274.99
I came across these cuties and almost felt like the discount was too good to be true. $100 off of anything Veronica Beard is rare, particularly a pair of such classic slingbacks. The gold detailing adds just the right touch of character.
Reg. $130, Sale price: $89.99
For a more budget-friendly shoe find, consider these pointed ballet flats (which come in several colors). This style was very much in last fall, and I suspect it will be just as big this year.
Reg. $239, Sale price: $149.99
You can never go wrong with knee high boots, and you’ll be thanking me for this recommendation once the temps drop and you need to bundle up. The brown leather is unique yet neutral enough to pair with just about anything. Plus, the heel height is not too low and not too high—something that’s surprisingly hard to find!
Reg. $850, Sale price: $549.99
I know there are a lot of people who totally love these over-the-knee boots, so I had to include them on my list. At nearly 40% off, now is the time to treat yourself to a pair.
Reg. $295, Sale price: $199.99
If you don’t have a pair of mules in your wardrobe yet, this is your sign to add some before the season starts to change. The birch color looks so rich and the square toe fit offers an elevated twist to the typical flats.
Reg. $250, Sale price: $199.99
Loeffler Randall is another brand that doesn’t typically have sales, so this is a special treat. These flats look feminine and fun—ideal for styling with an otherwise simple outfit.
Reg. $248, Sale price: $149.99
You can never have too many pairs of white sneakers. I love that these strike the perfect balance between sporty and elevated.
– These dark caramel mules seem like they were made for the fall season.
– Lug boots always look so effortlessly chic when styled with straight leg jeans. This pair is under $70.
– If you liked the Adidas sneakers at the top of this post, they also have this platform style included in the sale.
– I feel like these white sneakers would be the ultimate comfort shoe (perhaps a good choice for traveling!)
– Need a basic heel that will go with everything? These nude strap sandals are 35% off.
– Loafer season is just around the corner. This pair is only $55.
– These pointed toe booties are sure to be a repeat wear throughout the cooler months.
– If you still need some low heels to wear this summer, these are a no-brainer.
– I didn’t expect to see these New Balance sneakers included in the sale—they are one of the brand’s most popular items!
