What I Ordered vs. How They Turned Out: Amazon Edition vol. 15 – Matching Sets
Happy weekend, friends!! I am back with another round of What I Ordered vs. How They Turned out. You all have been loving the matching sets from Amazon that I shared a few weeks back so I thought I would try out a few more for you guys! I’ll be sharing my thoughts on each set, sizing info, and how I would style the pieces. I hope you enjoy!
Matching Sweater Set
You guys, I am so obsessed with this first set! I am so pleasantly surprised by the quality! Honestly, I didn’t have very high expectations for this one… typically knit sets from Amazon just don’t fit quite right on me but that is not the case with this! It’s made so well and the fit is so cute. The sweater is cropped but the shorts are high-waisted so you don’t have to show any skin if you don’t want to! I’ve styled the set here with a pair of heeled sandals but you could also pair it with flats or sneakers and it would be super cute. I want to buy this in every color! Fits true to size.
White Set with Sage Blazer
I am loving this sage green color for this season! You guys already know how much I love this blazer, I own it in every color now! I wear the size XS and it runs true to size. Funny story, this skirt I’m wearing is actually a top but I didn’t realize until after I put the outfit together! I’ll link the matching set it comes with, you can get two outfits in one 😉 It actually works great as a skirt or top and isn’t too sheer as long as you wear some nude underwear. I used Spanks here and felt totally comfortable! I love mixing affordable pieces with high-end items so I styled the outfit with my Gucci Bucket Bag and Gucci Sandals!
Black Leather Shorts and Blazer
For this next outfit, I wanted to put something together that would be good for a date night or girls night out! I think this looks very high-end but is actually pretty affordable! I’m wearing the same blazer from before but in black and these super cute leather shorts from Amazon. The shorts are SUCH good quality and look very similar to some of the designer shorts I’ve seen. Fit is true to size. Again, I mixed in some high-end pieces to complete the look!
Tan Matching Linen Set
You all know how much I love a linen set for summer! I’ve actually had these shorts for a long time so I was so excited to see they came out with a new top that matches them! The quality of the linen is really nice and both pieces are so comfy! I wear size XS in both the top and bottom. This is super easy to dress up or down and both pieces are under $50!
One Shoulder Tiered Midi Dress
Okay, so this isn’t a matching set but I loved this dress so much I just had to share! This pink is giving me major summer vibes! The dress is so comfortable with the smock detailing on the top and I find there is no need to wear a bra with this. If you feel more comfortable with a bra, you can definitely wear a strapless or stick on bra with the dress without it showing! I paired the dress with a pink pair of sandals I got from H&M and they happen to match perfectly!
