What I Ordered vs. How They Turned Out: Amazon Edition vol. 17
Bom dia, friends!! I’m back with another round of What I Ordered vs. How They Turned Out. Typically, I have somewhat of a theme for these roundups but this time I decided to shop my closet for items from past orders that I hadn’t worn yet! These pieces will be a little random and for all seasons and occasions. I’m so glad I decided to give these pieces a try though, there are some really good finds! I hope you guys enjoy!
Crochet Bathing Suit Coverup
I can’t believe I didn’t wear this coverup over the summer! I’ll definitely be bringing it with me on my next beach vacay! It gives Cult Gaia vibes for a fraction of the price and the quality is great. The back has an adjustable tie so you can cinch the waist is as much or as little as you want! Fit is true to size and I’m wearing a small.
Wide Leg Trouser
I love the fit of these trousers! They’re high-waisted with a wide leg and look really flattering on the body. The waist band is elastic in the back which makes them extra comfy. The material is a polyester blend that mimics linen but wrinkles less than a true linen! They are somewhat sheer so you’ll definitely want to wear nude undies or spanx. These are great for the office or a casual outing depending on how you accessorize!
Smocked Blouse
I actually have this top in two colors! It’s perfect to transition from summer to fall and I love how feminine it is! I recommend sizing down one size since the smocked bodice is a little loose. I’m wearing the size extra small.
Graphic Sweatshirt and Biker Shorts
I love this designer look for less! This sweatshirt is actually in men’s sizing which I didn’t notice when I ordered it but I really love the looser fit! I’m wearing the size small and it’s perfectly oversized. I paired it with these ribbed biker shorts that are also from Amazon. I have been loving these for lounging and working out! They’ve been holding up really well and come in a pack of three.
Brown Bikini
I’m so impressed with this bikini that’s under $30! The fit is super flattering and comfortable. I love that it’s high waisted and gives good coverage in the back! The fit is true to size and it comes in a ton of colors!
Green Mini Dress
This simple jersey dress is so good! I can’t believe how long it took me to try this dress out. It’s an easy throw on and go dress that looks so flattering and you can easily dress it up or down with accessories. The best part is, it’s under $20! The fit is true to size and I’m wearing the size small.
