I’ve recently re-discovered Bermuda shorts. A style I can totally remember wearing in the early ’90s BUT today’s Bermudas are nothing like her older sister. Today’s Bermudas are very sleek, longer, higher and so street style! Don’t believe me? Check out these 4 simple looks I put together to inspire you to incorporate it to your wardrobe this spring and summer season.
The best way to dress up anything is to throw a little black blazer over the shoulder. I would be careful wearing flats with Bermuda shorts unless you’re super tall. The leg length can give us the impression of even shorter legs so wear simple heels that are preferably nude, tan or clear, to elongate the legs!
To edgy up a look add a graphic tee! I love Anine Bing tees, they’re a bit pricy but made with a super thick fabric and top-notch quality!
I love a good silk button-up shirt. They take the whole outfit to the next level whether you’re trying to dress up or stay casual. I’m crazy about the slouchy feel of this one and yet ow polished it looks!
Here I am breaking my own “no flats” rule! Hehe!! I just felt like they went so well with the loafers for a casual chic and laid back vibe! I can see myself wearing Bermuda shorts with platform tennis shoes and a pullover for traveling too! The options are endless 🙂
Did I convince you about the trend? Which look is your favorite?!
