A Simple Yet Seasonal Holiday Makeup Look

Nothing says “holiday” more than a sparkly makeup look with a pop of red on the lips! I recently put together my go-to beauty look for the season — and I will certainly be wearing it on repeat. My favorite part of the whole look is the added sparkle on my eyes. While a touch of shimmer isn’t something I wear often, it does make for the perfect complement to a sequin skirt (a winter must-have.)

If I had to recommend one brand that offers what you’d need to achieve both an everyday and more “dolled up” look, I’d vouch for Charlotte Tilbury. Over the years, I have found so many products I love from this brand, but at the top of that list is this foundation.

When it comes to foundation, I always want to use something that feels lightweight and breathable. Even in the cooler and more dry winter months, the last thing I want is to feel makeup on my skin — I’d rather not know it’s there! This one checks that requirement off the list, and it does a stellar job at covering imperfections like dark spots, melasma, and hyperpigmentation.

Armani Eye Tint Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow

Those of you who have followed me for a while now may have picked up on my love for this eye tint. I typically wear it in the “Wood” shade, but for a more seasonal feel, I opt for the “Mahogany” colorway. It’s the perfect deep red shade that gives your eyes a pop of color without looking overwhelming.

While this product is technically meant to be used as eyeshadow, I prefer to use it as eyeliner. It goes on surprisingly smooth and is easy to achieve a winged eyeliner look with.

I’m not usually one for a bold lip, but for the sake of all things festive, I felt inspired to step out of my comfort zone. I’ve been obsessed with the Velvet Liquid Lip from Anastasia for so long, but when I saw this deep red I knew it would be ideal for a seasonal makeup look. It goes on so effortlessly and it lasts forever.
