Is there anything better than slipping into a cozy pair of pajamas after a long or stressful day? I’d argue not. Having a variety of quality pajamas in your dresser drawer is such a little luxury—one that feels like a treat every time you get ready for bed.

If you’re still hanging on to oversized t-shirts (with holes in them) or pj sets that have truly seen better days, it might be time for a little sleepwear upgrade.

Stocking your pajama drawer with tried-and-true staples is like the gift that keeps on giving. To help you choose the jammies that are actually worth it, I put together this list of the best pajamas for women, including the most comfortable pajamas and budget-friendly pajamas. I’ve included notes about each brand as well as a few of my top picks from each place.

Whether you want a girly looking sleep dress or soft and oversized pants, there’s sure to be a pair of pjs in this blog post that you’ll love. Nights, mornings, and slow weekend days are about to get a whole lot cozier!

Best Pajamas for Women

Anthropologie Pajamas

Anthropologie has some of the most unique and chic clothing pieces, and the brand’s pajama selection is no exception. I recently started shopping their sleepwear and have been really impressed with the quality and variety that they offer.

One of my most recent purchases from the brand includes this jaguar printed set (which so many of you had questions about when I shared it on Instagram!) I generally lean more toward neutrals and solids but totally loved how vibrant and fun this set was.

I’ve also been eyeing this henley knit sleep dress, which would be perfect for spring and summer weather.

All in all, you might not think of Anthro as a place to shop for pjs, but they really do have a good mix to offer and you’re sure to score pieces that will hold up well over time. Also, this would be the perfect place to source pajamas that you can gift!

Eberjey

This brand took the sleepwear world by a storm and have proven to be a fan-favorite over the past few years. If you’re looking for really simple pajamas that are made with a lot of attention to detail, Eberjey is a good option.

The fabric they use to craft their pjs is unlike any other brand. All of their sets are buttery soft (I know this description is used a lot but it really is true) and they’re made with such high quality that you know you’re getting something that will last a lifetime.

When browsing the Eberjey site, you’ll notice that most of their pajama options are solid colors. They do have some prints that they switch up from season to season, but honestly, I kind of dig the simplicity this brand offers. Consider grabbing a few different styles from the brand and creating your very own pajama capsule wardrobe, complete with a pant set, a short set, a dress, and even a sleep romper.

Show Me Your Mumu

On the other hand, if solid colors and basics aren’t really your thing, Show Me Your Mumu’s pajamas might be right up your alley. I have this bright and cheerful set and love wearing it during the warmer months (the seashell print makes it ideal for summer wear!)

Most of their pajamas are made with a soft and inviting silk fabric, which can have a cooling effect for hot sleepers. Despite their delicate material, I’ve noticed that they wash well—I just wouldn’t recommend putting them in the dryer.

If you want some pjs that are fun, lively, and available in a lot of cute prints, this is the brand to shop! Keep in mind that they get new prints in frequently, so even if you don’t see something you like now, it’s worth checking back in a couple of months.

Honeydew Intimates

Carried at Nordstrom and direct from their website, Honeydew Intimates is a tried-and-true brand you can find pjs, undies, loungewear, and more from. Like many of the brands on this list, Honeydew also releases new styles frequently, and they never disappoint.

I’d consider this a relatively affordable brand to source pajamas from (try these $48 joggers or this $68 set.) It’s also worth noting that you can find a lot of their pieces on sale at Nordstrom and even at Nordstrom Rack.

Overall, their pjs are incredibly soft, have cute styles and designs, and are mostly budget-friendly. Another bonus is that you can mix and match a lot of their pieces!

Lunya

Craving something ultra luxurious? Give Lunya a try. The brand is known for their washable silk pajamas, which combine a luxe feel with practicality. In addition to innovative fabrics, all of their pjs have stylish silhouettes that make them appealing not only to sleep in but to hang around the house in.

While their pjs are expensive, it might be worth investing in a pair if you’re someone who likes silk fabric but also want the option to wash them regularly.

Free People

For more bold and statement-making pajamas, look to Free People. They always have unique options that are ultra-comfy. Like most pieces from Free People, their pajamas definitely run a bit oversized, which I think is ideal when you’re relaxing at home.

They have a lot of sets but also sell individual pj pieces so you can wear your favorite tank top or a big t-shirt with some cute shorts or pants.

Also, if you haven’t checked out Free People’s workout selection, this is your sign to! They have sneaky good athleisure that doesn’t break the bank!

Revolve

If you’re looking for a variety of pajama styles that are available at various price points, Revolve is a good go-to. Whenever I search for pajamas on their site, I always find a cute new pair to add to my collection. They carry some smaller brands as well as big labels, like Eberjey and Show Me Your Mumu.

The set that I’m wearing in the main image of this blog post (linked below) is actually from Revolve. It’s definitely a splurge but I love the feminine and flirty vibe it offers!

Nordstrom

Nordstrom is another spot to head if you want to browse through a healthy mix of pajama options. If you need to do a major reboot on your pj inventory, going to the mall and looking through what’s in stock is likely your best bet.

Some of the best brands to shop from Nordy’s include Skims, PJ Salvage, Eberjey, Desmond & Dempsey, Open Edit, BP., and Nordstrom’s very own brand.
