Whether you live in the city or is heading there or like me, you just love to dress in city style outfits, you’re certain to enjoy my Chicago Outfit Recap – City Style. This is a great 7-day guide on what to bring along for certain occasions or just to inspire you to pull looks from your own closet and put similar looks together yourself!
I always wear comfy looks for traveling, in this case, it was hot and we drove so I wore my most comfortable and cutest pair of cut-offs that are super comfy. They run TTS, feature a high waist with button fly. They’re really the perfect length. I wore a pair of western white booties (but could switch it up for sneakers!) that I basically wear with everything. They’re the best pair of shoes I bought this season. This long sleeve knit tee comes in many color combinations and is perfect for traveling, super soft and can layer under anything! The hat just because 🙂 after all, hats take any look to the next level!
Accessories/jewelry:
We went ot Chicago to see Hamilton. Have you guys seen yet? It’s AMAZING and so so worth the trip. We dressed up a bit for the occasion with this gorgeous wide leg pantsuit in blush. it’s super soft and comfortable! I’m wearing a small bottom and XS top. I didn’t need to alter anything, the suit fits perfectly!!! These are great pieces separately, as a work suit or for occasions that ask for an elevated look!
Shop the look:
I wore a stretchy knit knee high dress for dinner one night. This dress is definitely a wild card. It’s perfect for dressing it down with sneakers and a denim jacket or dress it up with booties and a leather jacket. So many ways to accessorize it and I love the neutral Heather Grey shade! The dress is from Vici Dolls and sold out, but I’m linking a similar style!
Wearing the same jewelry in this look as well!!
Chicago is known for it’s magnificent shopping! Truly a treat for the Indy gals! For me, a staple stop is Zara. The best part about going now is the amazing end of season sales. I snagged myself a few one-shoulder tops and some cute shoes. Unfortunately, most sale items are sold out but I found a ton of similar looks!
Shop the “zara” look:
The next look not only has a Zara favorite but also an incredible pair of Levi’s Ribcage jeans, runs small so I went up a size and fits like a glove. It’s a straight cut with a cropped leg and super high waist with button fly. Heels are also Zara.
Shop Chicago city look:
A must stop while in Chicago is the Navy Pier. I wore a fun linen striped jumpsuit that’s comfy and breathable. Perfect for a hot day! The jumpsuit is true to size and has a waist band to tie that allows for adjusting. I like the cropped pant that can be worn with heels or flats for walking.
Shop Bella’s look:
I’m obsessed with this jumpsuit I received a couple of weeks ago! It’s the perfect neutral piece with a chic safari vibe. I traded the band that comes with for this leather wrap belt and paired with a block heel sandal.
Shop safari chic look:
For our last day in Chicago, we went for a quick lunch on the patio overlooking the river! I wore the same Levi’s ribcage pants paired with another find from the city. The cutest button up tropical print pink shirt. It’s now on sale and fits TTS, I love the fun summer feel of this top and how we can make the look more dressy!
