Pinterest Inspired Outfit Ideas You’re All Loving

post featured image post featured image

Whenever I get in a drought of putting together outfits, I always find myself referring back to Pinterest for inspiration. More recently, I don’t just use it as a drawing board, but I have begun replicating the looks with pieces I have in my own closet!

While this makes me get out of my comfort zone with looks, it also is allowing me to add my own touches to each one as well! Sometimes, I look into my closet thinking I have “nothing to wear” but in reality, I just needed a little guidance with how to put my pieces together, I have even been shocked with how much I like some of the looks, especially with pieces I had never styled together in the past.

Whether you are heading to a brunch, errands, or a night out, this makes getting ready so much easier. I have curated a couple of my favorites and want to let my looks now be an inspiration to you, but again, never be afraid to add your own touches with what you have, it makes it a bit more personalized that way!

Pinterest Inspired Looks

A Casual Monochromatic Look

You all know I am guilty of always wearing a monochromatic look, especially white. There is something so chic about it to me that I am constantly drawn to – which makes sense why I selected this look off Pinterest to replicate.

Finding white pants and a white tank are easy in my closet, but the cuff on the pant was a touch I haven’t found myself doing in a few years. This almost made the look complete in my opinion, especially with the belt, it went from “pieces” to a complete “masterpiece.” Adding a blazer and brown accessories was a fun touch, personally I love that this look was kept casual but still so chic, perfect for the spring temps!

Baggy Jeans and an Oversized Blazer

Since skinny jeans have left the chat and the oversized look is more common these days, when I saw this Pinterest look, I knew I had the items to piece this one together. Baggy on baggy isn’t always what I am drawn to, but I encourage you to give this one a try. The formfitting top helps balance this one out perfect, especially when you had a heel to give you a little height so the denim sits just perfectly.

While I had to go searching to find an asymmetrical top, I definitely could have done a regular white tank as well and felt satisfied with this look execution. What I feel like ties this whole look together is the chunky silver accessories- how perfect to accent the grey blazer?!

This look shocked me, but now I know how to style the baggy on baggy and will definitely be reaching for these pieces again!

A Classic Trouser and Button Up

Whether going for the nautical vibe, a business meeting look, or a casual ladies who lunch get up, this look is so versatile! Dare I say my favorite of this series? While the blue brings out the color in me, I still feel like this look is very me, but again, not what I would have picked out but I am so happy Pinterest made me give it a shot!

The white trouser is a staple in my closet, and the brown accents of this look truly tie it all together. I think even dressing it down with a flat sandal and a large tote for a more “on-the-go” look would be just as chic!

Chic Layers

This look is one I saved awhile back for some travels of mine, especially somewhere like Paris. While rather simple, sometimes that can be the most timeless. Again, I am looking for everyday wear inspiration, and Pinterest sure is delivering.

From the plain white tee, to the classic denim, and a chic pair of sunglasses, this look looks effortless while still being “styled” and cute. How fun would it be to even throw a sneaker with this for a more casual walking look, or a higher heel and a leather jacket to make it better for night? So many good things can come from the base layer of this look!

Quiet Luxury Vibes

This one is every bit of me! I love the monochromatic, the gold details, and the texture, I wish I saw this look a month ago so I could have worn it to Easter! The tweed is such a beautiful and elegant texture that I constantly find myself pulling for, so when I saw this Pinterest look, I ran to my closet to start putting it together. How perfect for the office too? It is effortlessly classy and chic!

While I didn’t do a crop pant, I am thinking I need to add a pair of those to my wardrobe! However, this is a good example of “making it your own.” Since I didn’t have all the exact pieces, I was able to make it similar, following the inspiration, while using what I had and adding personal touches that make it stay unique to my taste. The best part about inspiration is it gets the creative juices flowing, making outfits come easier!

Elevated Everyday Look

If you’re looking for an outfit that works for just about any outing or occasion, this is it. This $50 cardigan alone is worth adding to your cart. It’s made with the best quality yet has such an approachable price point. I paired it here with some cream cropped jeans and matching loafers for a monochromatic vibe.

Add a cute bag (a tote is perfect for work or busy mom days!) and some dainty gold jewelry to finish thins off. Also, as we approach the summer months, consider layering with something like a lace cami underneath. This will give you the option to lose a layer if the temperature warms up — not to mention it looks chic.

Work to Happy Hour Outfit

I love a good look that can take you from day to night with ease. This combo definitely achieves that — and it features layers which make it a good choice for all season wear. One standout is this funnel neck top, which is under $70 and has a sleeveless design that looks chic and makes for a great base. Add a blazer (I adore the oversized look) and some jeans and you’ll be set.

These jeans have consistently been one of my top sellers as of late. They have the most comfortable fit and a unique yet streamlined silhouette. They’re easy to pair with heels, loafers, or sandals and are truly a rockstar in the wardrobe staple department.
