9 Spring Outfit Ideas for Every Occasion

Spring is just around the corner, and conveniently in time for a little wardrobe refresh, Zara is finally linkable on LTK! I have been anxiously anticipating the day that this would happen because I’m often wearing Zara pieces that I wish I could share with you.

On that note, Zara has so many good pieces coming in for the new season, so I thought I’d share everything I’m looking forward to buying in hopes that we can skip over this Indiana winter! Here, I’m rounding up a handful of spring outfit ideas and tips on how to style each piece…

Spring Outfit Ideas

Outfit #1: A Chic and Clean Look

Just because your outfit is neutral doesn’t mean it has to be boring. These pieces have the best textures to bring it all together for a clean and sleek look that is anything but dull. I always find myself saying I need a go-to, simple outfit and now I have found the perfect one — this would work for date nights or a brunch with your girlfriends. I even love the idea of throwing a blazer over this and heading into the office!

Bella keeps telling me about a term called the “sandwich method” that she hears about on TikTok, which is the idea of creating a sandwich with your outfit. I followed the trend here by matching my top to my shoes and bag, all while keeping the middle piece (my pants) a different color. How cute is this concept?!

Outfit #2: Versatile Dress

Looking for something a little more elevated? The perfect thing about this dress (other than the amazing fit and color) is that it could work for any season. You could wear this to a wedding and add a colorful bag or keep things neutral for a girls night out with a cream blazer.

On its own, the dress is elegant and timeless — it’s a piece that won’t go out of style. It also has the perfect amount of stretch that makes it every bit of comfortable. Another option would be to dress it down with some white sneakers and a denim jacket!

Outfit #3: Give Me All the Western Vibes

This outfit calls for a western hat and a girls trip to attend! I love the various dynamics and versatility that a denim dress brings. This one has a slightly distressed wash, which I feel gives things more personality. It’s also easy to throw on and is made with good quality (not too thin and not too thick!) If you want to go with less of a western look, try styling this with heels, sneakers, or sandals instead.

Outfit #4: The Office Just Got Chic

This might as well just be my new studio uniform! Everything about this look gives a classic, timeless, KSD look. It features my favorite colors (neutrals of course) but is elevated with silk texture and an added blazer!

One piece that I think is such a cute staple (especially as we enter the spring months) is this silk blouse. It can be dressed up or down, which is always a win. Another perk? You could easily wear this from the office to a happy hour!

Outfit #5: Think Pink

This one may stretch out of my neutral comfort zone, but I do think this light pink dress is perfect for a spring day! Pair it with sneakers and a denim jacket to make this look more casual. I’m thinking I need to wear this to the next farmer’s market I go to, or even a brunch meet up with my girls.

Also, this denim jacket is perfect for layering and I love that it has the versatility to be worn during many seasons. Who said casual can’t be cute?!

Outfit #6: Let’s Play Dress Up

This coral find seems like the ideal fit for a spring or summer wedding guest dress! I love the faux pocket detailing because it adds a classiness to the look that wouldn’t be there without them. This dress is stunning and the fit is flattering to all body types.

For any summer event, cocktail hour, or resort vacation you have coming up, this dress is a must. I like the idea of pairing it with neutrals (you know me) because it adds such dimension to the dress. I also think this look is perfect to pack for vacations because each piece can be styled with other items (which makes packing easier!)

Outfit #7: Good for All Occasions

I styled this brown top in a different way above, but I love how it looks with denim too! You can never go wrong when adding accessories to liven up a look, and in this case, I think this combo calls for some classic gold jewelry.

To round out this outfit, grab your favorite denim and a chic bag to match the top (for that sandwich effect I mentioned earlier.) Also, how adorable is this woven mini tote bag? I think it has so much personality while still remaining a neutral — the best of both worlds!

Outfit #8: Shoes of the Moment

This outfit may seem simple from the waist up, but the second you look down, you’ll realize it’s far from that. Adding a pop of pattern or color through your shoes of choice is a fool-proof way to dip your toes (no pun intended) into more playful looks. Shoes and accessories alone can elevate your outfits, so don’t be afraid to test out more unique pieces.

When any outfit centers around a basic white t-shirt, the options for how you style it are nearly endless. This would be a cute choice to wear to church or on Easter! I wish I would have thought of packing this look for my Mexico trip…

Outfit #9: Transitional and Casual

This is another everyday outfit option that I think would be perfect for brunch, errands, or a little day date! The sweater makes it cozy while the skort adds a feminine touch and the printed sneakers offer a more bold statement. These (much more affordable) sneakers remind me of an old pair of leopard Golden Goose shoes I used to wear religiously!
