What I Actually Wore This Week

You guys always ask what I actually wear during the week — not styled shoot outfits, not “for content” looks, but the real, everyday pieces I’m reaching for.

This week, I’m sharing what I actually wore. The real outfits and actual pieces. Every look that carried me through Pilates classes, dentist appointments, Target runs, work hours, errands, brunch… all of it.

Because this season of life is full, I’m 46, I’m a mom, a wife, and I run a business, and my outfits have to work just as hard as I do. I want comfort, yes. But I also want intention. I don’t throw things on randomly… even when it looks effortless.

Here’s the full weekly edit.

Pilates Day Look

Cream leggings, faux fur jacket, and my cozy waterproof fleece boots.

This is one of my favorite formulas lately: fitted base + soft texture + practical shoes. The leggings keep everything streamlined, and adding a plush jacket instantly makes it feel styled instead of gym-only. The boots were non-negotiable because comfort is a priority when I’m in and out all day.

Dentist + Target Run Outfit

This is what I call a “real life chic” outfit. You guys know I love an oversized knit moment, and pairing it with structured outerwear balances the proportions so it still looks polished. Wide leg jeans keep it relaxed, and accessories always finish the look — beanie + sunglasses = instant intention.

I’ve been reaching for this denim style on repeat lately. If you guys have been asking about the jeans I swear by in this season, I rounded them all up in my 40-Something Jeans I Swear By Edit — the jeans that actually work, feel good, and hold their shape. I’ll link that here because it’s basically my denim cheat sheet.

Oversized gray cashmere sweater, wool cashmere tailored long coat, wide leg jeans, brown beanie, Laguna boots, square sunglasses.

Pilates + Grocery Run

High-rise leggings, oversized cashmere crewneck, brown down jacket, puffer boots.

This is a repeat outfit formula for me because it works. Elevated activewear + luxe knit + warm outer layer. It looks pulled together, but feels like loungewear. If an outfit can go from workout → grocery store → life without a change, it’s staying in rotation.

Office / Work From Home Day

Boxy oversized crewneck, straight leg sweatpants, cream scarf coat, ribbed beanie, sneakers. WFH outfits are tricky because you want comfort but still want to feel productive. Matching tones always help with that, keeping everything neutral makes sweats look intentional, not sleepy.

Errands + Mall Trip

Cream scarf coat, oversized cashmere sweater, Yankees hat. This was a throw-on-and-go outfit that still felt styled. A good coat does most of the work for you, and a hat is honestly one of my favorite styling tricks when I want something casual but finished.

Rebounder Class + Brunch + Studio Showing

Yankees hat, grip Pilates socks, elevation leggings.

This day had a little bit of everything, so I needed pieces that could keep up. When I know I won’t have time to change, I stick to athletic pieces that look sleek enough to pass as everyday wear. It’s all about choosing items that multitask.

What This Week Reminded Me

At this stage, I just want clothes that work for my life, that are comfortable, polished, and easy to move through the day in. Whether it’s Pilates, errands, meetings, or brunch, I like knowing my outfits make sense for where I’m headed.

It’s less about trends and more about feeling put together in a way that feels natural. Pieces that layer well. Shoes I can actually walk in, and coats that finish the look and pull everything together.

That’s really it.

If you guys enjoy these weekly edits, I’ll keep sharing what I’m actually wearing 🤎
