This satin dress took me back to my high school years! The grunge girls of the 90’s (hello Kate Moss!) and their little satin slip dresses, combat boots, bed head and smudged black liner…total nostalgia. That said, we are not in the 90’s anymore and I wanted to bring this back with a touch of 2020 🙂
On another note, I’m so happy with the fit, it was love at first slip! The dress is cut on the bias and hugs our body/curves in the most beautiful way. The thicker straps make it a little more edgy and easy to wear for all body types. It’s really not plungy but still sexy and timeless.
And since I love it so much, I’m showing you three ways I styled it over this past week for the transitioning weather.
Wearing the slip dress here under an oversized coat with combat boots and a beanie. Add a scarf and layer it up for the colder days.
Simple and elegant. A clutch or chain bag is the perfect accessory to keep this look clean and polished.
Just throw a slouchy sweater over the dress and add a belt bag for a street-style inspired look!
I hope you guys loved these looks as much as I do and go grab yourself this slip dress!
