This ASTR The Label long velvet duster (on permanent sale from the linked retailer!) sure made some heads turn when I wore it out, and it was a hit when I posted on instagram…twice! And since you guys love it so much I thought I’d show you a more casual way to wear it. It’s an open front, self-tie with no other closures. Long sleeve and front pockets. super versatile and can be dressed up or down!
First, I styled my long velvet duster my go-to Levi’s wedgie ripped high waist jeans (go up a size on them, they run quite small!), a loose white tee, and nude pumps. this would be a great look to go out for dinner with your girlfriends, a night in the town or even a date night.

To compose this look I wanted to balance off the length of the long velvet duster by pairing it with a high waist and tucked blouse. A heel takes the look to the dressier level. if you wanted to make this a more casual look I’d just swap the heels for sneakers, espadrilles or flats.

Next look I wore to travel in. I love high waisted leggings and these Commando ones are the bomb! Super comfy, stay put and make us feel like bombshells that is 🙂

I wear this graphic tee to travel all the time! Besides the cutest graphics on it, it’s super soft. This one has a detailed with crayon-sketch likenesses of Oprah and Anna Wintour and ‘Win-Win’ lettering! How cute is that?! My Chanel espadrilles have been around for quite sometime and I wear them year round (perfect to travel or walk around the city).
I’d love to know which long velvet duster look is your favorite, so let me know in a comment below!
I also hope you noticed I applied a different filter on the looks, which one do you like best? I’m changing things up a bit on my theme and would love an input!
