Ironworks Hotel Indy Preview

Hubs and I celebrated Christmas together a couple days earlier last month. We were gifted a “staycation” and had a remarkable stay at the Ironworks Hotel Indy, complete with a delicious date at the town’s talk Provision Restaurant and brunch at the yummiest Rize Restaurant. It was such a nice escape from the craziness of the season and we were beyond impressed with the whole experience. Sometimes all we need is a night out to re-connect with our spouse and talk to each other and not about the kids!! I 100% recommend it 🙂

IRONWORKS HOTEL INDY REVIEW

Let me just tell you how beautiful the Ironworks Hotel Indy looks even from the outside. It’s so unique, like nothing I’ve ever seen. A combination of modern industrial atmosphere with refined touches of luxury, leathers and rustic woods. Upon entering the hotel we smelled this delicious fragrance in the air, they have a freakin signature fragrance, you guys!! For all of my sensory oriented peeps out there this will be your ultimate extravagance.

The Ironworks Hotel Indy lobby was lively yet cozy, with sections of vintage leather couches and picturesque decor that invites you to just sit down and people watch…or read the paper or a favorite magazine! As a blogger, you can just imagine my eyes wondering around daydreaming of all the amazing pics I could take right then and there! In a social media driven era, I’m sure you can relate to this. This place is picture perfect in every sense….I’ll leave you to decide for yourself whether you agree with it or not!

We stayed at the Legacy Suite, and WOW! I totally feel short of words to describe this room guys. Every touch feels deeply thought out. The soft and super clean bed (so important to me!!), the all-white bathrooms with plush robes and an amazing shower head! OMG I just want to live at the Ironworks Hotel Indy! Hahaha. I also adore how they incorporate lots of local love in their brand, from Hi-Fashion magazines such as Pattern to local treats on the snack bar, it’s just pure love! Ironworks Hotel Indy has its own brand of wine and even after having a couple glasses at dinner we couldn’t resist having one more in our room!

The pictures were done at the Founder’s Suite. They all have a similar set up except for the adjacent “meeting” room with the long table. All bathrooms are the same and lounge areas. Impressive in every way.

For all my Beauty Counter essentials go HERE! I’m obsessed with the Glow Shimmer Oil Amber introduced to me! Apparently, it’s what Angel Alessandra Ambrosio wears on her body for her Victoria’s Secrets runway shows and pics! Sign me up!!! Hehehe Wearing best seller Sheer Lipstick in Currant. This is like a bb cream for the lips with lots of pigment!

Dinner at the Ironworks Hotel Indy was as fabulous as we envisioned it to be. Provision Restaurant inside Ironworks is definitely worth the hype guys. Get your name on their wait list and delight yourself with their local flavors! What they stand for is sustainability, transparency (their kitchen is open style), and quality. They work with locally sourced and grown produce and products which is a huge plus! We are getting fresh ingredients and supporting the local farms as well! Win-win if you ask me 🙂

I had the salmon and even though it was wonderful I was SOOOO jelly of hub’s burger! I kept on taking bites of it. Best Burger Ever. I actually want to go back w my girls to experiment more with that menu!! We finished up with Indy’s best and traditional sugar cream pie. Made daily and fresh by local artisans and bakers.

After a much needed restful night, we had a lazy morning watching the enormous TV while sipping on good coffee. Something we never have time to actually do…enjoy ourselves.

We headed to Rize Restaurant on the first floor of Ironworks Hotel Indy for some traditional egg bennys and fresh squeezed OJ! For my Brazilian gals who are reading this, they have a orange squeeze machine just like the ones we have in our padarias (read about brazilian padarias on this post!) Rize is also all about sustainability and their hydroponically grown produce from their greenhouse!
