KROGER SYMPHONY ON THE PRAIRIE: A FAMILY SUMMER FAVORITE

Indiana summers are not complete without a Kroger Symphony on the Prairie outdoor concert. If you’re not familiar with it, the Symphony on the Prairie is the best value in central Indiana for outdoor live music and entertainment! Every June we wait in excitement to see what dates our favorites are coming to town.

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra plays with many other musical guests including covers of The Beatles (a family favorite here), Queen, Michael Jackson, Abba along with many other names, all played at the Conner Prairie Amphitheater. Ok, what’s so good about this? Well, besides the fact that the Kroger Symphony on the Prairie is the best family-friendly event, we can bring our own food and drinks (alcoholic beverages included) or we can purchase concessions on site – we love their Kettle Corn Popcorn. Kroger Symphony on the Prairie allows everyone to enjoy music however they want!

We usually save ourselves multiple trips to the store since Kroger has a great wine selection with varieties from all over the world. As well as a lunch box with everything you’ll need for a delish picnic! I like how the store has the best organic and healthy products and brands available and lots of local goods too. It’s definitely our one-stop for everything!

Our picnic essentials for the Kroger Symphony on the Prairie include all the fruit and charcuterie goodies, muffins for dessert and plenty of drinks to enjoy and to hydrate!

Every summer someone from my Brazilian family comes to visit, this year we had my mom in town and she already asked if we’ll be able to see one concert during her visit. The Kroger Symphony on the Prairie truly is a summer must guys and people come from all over the state to enjoy this!

Bottom line: if you love family time, friends, great music, summer nights, wine, cheese, kettle corn popcorn and all the other goodies yoou can fit into a picnic basket you’ll love Kroger Symphony on the Prairie!
