Luxe Fashion Show

Race season is officially over here in the city known for its race history. As a good Brazilian I do enjoy the race – especially when we have amazing Brazilian drivers competing, hello Tony and Helio – but besides the race itself (and the beers and burgers) I love seeing the tourists in town, the buzz, the fashion industry throwing the coolest events and just seeingย everyone gathering together makes the city look and feel so alive!!! We started the night having Josef Newgarden (who took 3rd place in Indy 500 historical race) over at Saks taking pics and giving out autographs.

Then I met my plus one Maria and headed to Napolese where Simon Mall and GQ Magazine were hosting a cocktail party before the big show! May I add I’ve been to quite a few fashion related events in the city and have never seen an event put together so well and so tastefully. Kuddos for the marketing team, I’m blown away!

Afterwards we all headed to the mall where the fashion show was being held. Upon arrival I was directed to my seat and Simon mall equipped myself and other local bloggers with iphone lenses to take shots of the show along with lots of gifts and other goodies….blown away part II !!!!

LuxeFS14Indy Star has lots of amazing pics of the show!ย I have some highlights on my instagram @karinastylediaries and ย here’s a couple shots…

As for the OOTD:

It’s all BCBG Max Azria from Indianapolis store. Adelia Sequined Embroidered Cutout Dress; Veera High Heel Leather Sandal; Chanel Calfskin Quilted Medium Bubble CC Flap in Black; Miranda Frye earrings. And for the hair I came in to work with a flat french braid mohawk style then Kelly my co-woker/girlfriend re-vamped it to this awesome hairdo! We puffed up the braid and pinned with bobbi pins and she pulled a couple strings of hair back to hide the elastic. FUN FUN FUN!!

Huge thanks to Simon Mall for making me a part of this event. I enjoyed every minute of it! Beautiful party, beautiful clothes/models and gifts (man, the gifts!) everything was thought out and we could all see it! Congrats and I can’t wait for next year’s race season!!!

Beijos,
