My fourth NYFW is under my belt and with that comes my favorite blog post: NYFW 2019 Outfit Recap! If you’re reading this wishing one day you could attend fashion week, you might want to read THIS POST with loads of info and tips on how I worked my way to my first one 🙂
Starting with the airport look. I wore a fluffy sweater, a belt bag (this helps to bring a bigger carry-on!). High waist cropped jeans and loafers all together make a super comfy look! The sweater is Vici and Pants are Zara. Shop similar items:
Upon arriving I went straight to a Gigi New York brunch and stoped by Willow and Clay afterward! I wore this amazing dress I got from local Indy boutique 8 Fifteen.
Thursday evening we went to a Tula party with a pink dress code, so naturally, I pulled my inner Carrie Bradshaw and went for a tule fluffy skirt and cropped top along with these killers Tamara Mellon white pumps.
On Friday we had a few appointments with Bollare, Farfetch, and a few jewelry brands. I wore this cozy cashmere sweater, fits TTS and it’s so super soft. Styled it with a street style vibe for NYFW with high heels and skinny ripped jeans.
The rest of the day rained hard, if you watched my stories you know I pretty much ruined my Chanel espadrilles but at the very least I looked cute for a while with this casual outfit…this cut out shoulder sweatshirt is so incredibly soft! The jeans come in a crop version ( the one I’m wearing) and a long version if you’re taller!
Saturday we hit the Evereve party and I wore an edgy street style look from them. I have to say I really enjoyed putting looks together for NYFW from Evereve. They’re usually my go-to for casual wear and have great workpieces, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how much edgier pieces they got this season!
I selected this pair of coated high waisted jeans with the cut out top and black blazer with bomber jacket cuffs and neckline.
To Rebecca Minkoff presentation we went, then headed back to the hotel for a stop at Sézane before going to my friend Nita’s apartment in Midtown! I wore the most gorgeous impeccable fit dress by Nanushka I borrowed at Farfetch.
Sunday I had a quick breakfast with Jaime from my agency and took a little time to shop afterward. So disappointed to say I didn’t find anything I totally loved so came back with just a couple of Zara and Aritzia pieces. Later on the day, I wore this monochromatic look to the Nicole Miller show (that was incredible btw!)
Aritzia is not linkable so here are some similars:
Or click HERE to shop their store (items are current!!)
I then changed to these jeans after the show and went out to eat and have drinks with the girls!
Monday was filled with PR meetings and Jenn and I went out to the coziest restaurant in Little Italy for our farewell dinner! I wore a laid back graphic tee and jeans with my go-to blazer. This blazer really elevates the look I love it!!
Another all-black outfit was this incredible feather top and the same coated jeans from Evereve!
Last day was for all the cozies, I wore this cream monochromatic look of oversized high waist linen pants and sweater combo with loafers and a belt bag.
Which look is your favorite?
Stay tuned for an NYC guide coming soon!
