Rhode Beauty Review: The Products I’m Loving + My Go-To Bronzy Summer Makeup Routine

One of the questions I get asked most often is what makeup I’m wearing, so I thought it would be fun to round everything up in one place. These are the products I’ve been using lately, the Rhode products that have really impressed me, and my go-to bronzy makeup routine that I’ve been wearing all summer.

If you’ve been following along, you’ve probably noticed I’ve been trying more Rhode Beauty products over the last few months. Some have quickly become everyday favorites, while others are still a work in progress for me. I wanted to share my honest thoughts with you.

I’m also sharing the products I keep reaching for when I want that easy bronzy glow. They’re the ones that make my skin look fresh, natural, and still like my skin, which is exactly the look I love this time of year.

Let’s Talk About Rhode

Rhode has been one of those brands I was really excited to try, and overall I’ve been so impressed with how effortless and natural everything feels.

After using the products consistently, here are the ones I’ve been reaching for the most.

Peptide Lip Shape + Peptide Lip Tint

These are probably my favorite Rhode products. I’ve been wearing the Peptide Lip Shaper in Lean with the Peptide Lip Tint in Toast, and it’s become my everyday lip combination. The color is so flattering without feeling too bold, and it’s one of those combinations that’s pretty foolproof.

My only wish is that they lasted a little longer throughout the day, but I’ve found that using a setting spray definitely helps.

If you’re looking for an easy everyday lip, I’d absolutely start here.

Pocket Blush

The Pocket Blush in Tan Line has also become a favorite.

It gives just the right amount of color and is so easy to apply. It’s another product that feels pretty foolproof, which I always appreciate when I’m getting ready in a hurry.

Just like the lip products, I do wish it lasted a little longer, but again, a setting spray has made a big difference for me.

Pocket Bronze

I’m loving the Pocket Bronze. The color payoff is so good, and a little really does go a long way. It blends beautifully into the skin and gives that warm, bronzy look I always gravitate toward.

The only thing I’ve found is that because it’s such a creamy formula, it definitely needs to be set. Otherwise, it can move throughout the day. Once I started setting it with powder, it wore so much better and stayed in place.

Highlight Milk

This is probably the only product I’m still figuring out.

I absolutely love the idea behind the Highlight Milk and the glow it gives, but right now I’ve found that it makes my makeup move around a little when I layer it over my base.

I have a feeling I’ll love it much more in the fall and winter when my skin is a little drier, so I’m definitely planning on giving it another try then. Sometimes products just work differently depending on the season, and I think this is one of those.

The Pocket Brush

If you’re using Rhode’s cream products, I also really like the Pocket Brush.

It makes blending everything so quick and easy, especially the bronzer and blush, and it’s become one of those brushes I automatically reach for.

My Go-To Bronzy Summer Makeup Routine

I love makeup that gives my skin a healthy glow without feeling heavy, especially during the summer.

Lately I’ve been starting with the MERIT Uniform Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 45, which gives my skin lightweight coverage while still looking really natural.

For a little extra coverage where I need it, I’ve been using the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer. Followed by the Benefit Precisely, My Brow Tinted Wax to keep my brows soft and natural.

To warm everything up, I’ve been reaching for both the YSL All Hours Hyper Sunkissed Glow Bronzer Powder and the Gucci Sun-Kissed Glow Powder Bronzer. Both give such a beautiful bronzy finish without looking heavy. I find myself switching between them depending on the look I’m going for.

I’ve also been loving the Victoria Beckham Contour Stylus for a little extra definition, and I finish everything with the Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette for a soft glow.

Then I go back in with my Rhode lip combo, and that’s pretty much my everyday makeup routine lately.

The Makeup Brushes I Reach for Most

I also get asked about the brushes I use, and these are the ones I keep reaching for.

The MAKEUP BY MARIO F4 Dual-Ended Foundation and Face Brush, MAKEUP BY MARIO F1 Dual-Ended Contour are my new favorites. The Blush Brush, and the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush have all become staples in my routine.

They make blending so easy and really help everything melt into the skin.

What’s Staying in my Makeup Bag

I don’t switch up my makeup very often, so when something earns a permanent spot in my makeup bag, it’s usually because I genuinely love using it.

Right now, my Rhode favorites are definitely the Pocket Blush, Pocket Bronze, and the Peptide Lip Shape and Lip Tint. Those are the products I’ve found myself reaching for the most. I can already tell they’ll continue coming with me on trips and becoming part of my everyday routine.

If you’re shopping Sephora, curious about Rhode Beauty, or simply looking to refresh your makeup routine, I hope this gives you a little inspiration and a few products to try!

I’d love to know—have you tried Rhode Beauty yet? Or is there one makeup product you keep repurchasing because you just can’t live without it? Let me know in the comments. I’m always looking for new favorites to try.
