This past week, my book club traded our usual meeting spot for a relaxing girls’ trip in beautiful Palm Beach. Between peaceful mornings by the ocean, wonderful meals, and plenty of time to catch up, it was the perfect place to slow down and reconnect. Palm Beach truly has it all. So, here’s exactly how we spent our weekend feeling refreshed, recharged, and making memories that will last until our next book club meeting.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized the hotel really does make the trip. I want a place that feels beautiful and special, but also somewhere I can truly relax, sleep well, unpack, and enjoy just as much as the destination itself.
For this trip, I stayed at the Four Seasons Palm Beach, and it could not have been a better fit for our girls’ getaway. The property has a classic Palm Beach feel, with beautiful coastal-inspired interiors, stunning ocean views, and a relaxed sense of luxury that instantly relaxes you. My room overlooked the beach and pool, making every morning feel like the vacation I had needed.

One thing I especially appreciated was how thoughtfully everything was designed. There was plenty of room to unpack, organize my things, and settle in for the weekend. Every detail felt intentional, from the room itself to the warm, attentive service. The evening turndown service was such a sweet touch, making coming back to the room each night feel even more special.

While we didn’t have the chance to enjoy dinner at the hotel, I did order the poke bowl for lunch one afternoon, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of the stay. Beautifully presented with so many fresh options that it quickly became one of my favorite parts of each morning.

Now for the second most important part of planning any girls’ getaway… where are we eating? Thankfully, Palm Beach delivered. From memorable dinners to beautiful settings, these were the spots that stood out throughout our weekend.
Night One: Buccan Palm Beach
We kicked off our trip with dinner at Buccan, which quickly became one of my favorite meals. The menu is designed for sharing, so we ordered several plates for the table. Each one seemed to outdo the last. The atmosphere was lively without feeling overdone, the cocktails were excellent, and the surrounding neighborhood reminded me of Provence.

Night Two: Spruzzo
Our second dinner was at Spruzzo in West Palm Beach. While the rooftop views overlooking the marina were absolutely beautiful, the restaurant leaned more toward a lively nightlife atmosphere than the relaxed dinner we were hoping for. And unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to our expectations.
The evening definitely ended on a high note, though. We stopped by The Breakers Palm Beach for a nightcap afterward, and it was absolutely stunning. Even if you’re staying elsewhere, I highly recommend popping in for a drink. The property is iconic, and it’s worth experiencing the beautiful lobby and oceanfront setting.

Night Three: Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel
For our final dinner, we visited Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel, and the setting alone made the reservation worth it. The Colony is one of Palm Beach’s most iconic hotels, full of charm and personality, and Swifty’s fits right in.

Shopping on Worth Avenue
If shopping is on your Palm Beach itinerary, Worth Avenue is a must. It’s home to all of the luxury designers you could want, along with charming local boutiques, art galleries, and beautiful courtyards. Even if you’re only window shopping, it’s worth setting aside an afternoon to explore.

Bike the Lake Trail
The Lake Trail in Palm Beach offers five and a half miles of scenic lake views. I wasn’t able to try it myself, but I think bike rides are such a great way to wind down and keep your body moving while relaxing your mind.
Visit the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum
A seventy-five-room, stunning mansion from the Gilded Age would have been amazing to see. Even if you aren’t a history buff, the mansion is just beautiful and open to the public in Palm Beach.
