Summer Lake Days: Outfits for Every Activity
Hi, friends! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Can you believe how fast summer is flying by?! It’s been a busy one here but I’ve been trying to soak up every minute of it. One of our favorite things to do as a family is spend time at the lake by our house, whether we’re boating, skiing, paddle boarding, or just lounging! I recently picked up a few dresses I have been absolutely loving from Lilly Pulitzer that have been perfect for these summer days! I have been so impressed with the quality and fit of each piece so I just had to share with you guys! LP makes so many great pieces for summer, including swimwear. You can see what I picked out and how I styled the pieces below! Everything fits true to size and I’m wearing a size XS in all of these dresses.
Lounging by the Beach
How pretty is this white midi dress?! I love the functional tie straps which make the dress adjustable and adds a feminine detail! The dress is flowy and just skims the body for a very comfortable and flattering fit and is fully lined. You could easily wear this lakeside or with flats to brunch or you could pair it with heels for a dinner time look. Plus, it has pockets!
Boating
I love this linen tunic dress! It is so lightweight and comfortable but looks so chic. The tie detail allows you to cinch the fabric in a bit to give your waist more definition. This is any easy one to dress up or down with heels, flats, or even sneakers!
Paddle Boarding
This piece looks like a dress but is actually a romper which is perfect if you want to be a little more active! I wore this while paddle boarding and felt totally comfortable with the built in shorts while still looking cute!
Relaxing and Enjoying the View
This easy, breezy shift dress is perfect for relaxing and lounging but is still appropriate for dinner if you dress it up with heels and accessories! It’s 100% linen and lightweight which makes it super comfy for these hot summer days. The fit is flattering and the fabric drapes really nicely on the body!
