Warby Parker Review: The Glasses I’ve Been Wearing (and Loving) for Years

If you’ve been reading the blog or following me on Instagram for a while now, you may have noticed that I love to switch my glasses up just as much as I enjoy putting new outfits together. To me, eyewear is equally as important as any other piece of clothing or accessory that you put on.

Many people dread wearing glasses and feel like they aren’t their true selves when they have them on (which is such a bummer.) However, I’m convinced this is only because they’re looking to the wrong spots for this must-have accessory.

Warby Parker has been my go-to for years for all things eyewear. Yes, their selection is much larger (and better) than the typical optical shop, but they also have several perks that I wanted to highlight here.

One of my favorite features that the brand offers is their at-home try on filter. Whether you’re shopping on your computer or browsing their glasses on your phone, you can use their virtual try on to see exactly how you’ll look with each pair you’re eyeing. I have always utilized this tool to see what their glasses look like in different lighting and with different outfits. This was a major game changer for me because I could actually take my time deciding between each pair I was considering.

I now own several pairs of glasses from Warby Parker and have continuously been impressed with the quality. If you’re unsure of where to start, they also have a quiz you can take to nail down your particular eyewear style. The quiz is brief yet will leave you with several suggestions on frames that might suit your look. They’ll ask you what your face shape is, what style of glasses you’re interested in, what colors and patterns you prefer, etc.

If you want some additional inspo, I’m sharing a handful of my favorite frames below. As you’ll see, I like having several pairs that have unique shapes and looks so I can keep things fresh. If you have any questions about the brand or the specific glasses I’m wearing, please leave them in the comment section at the end of this post!

My Favorite Styles

Maeve Glasses

It doesn’t get much more classic than a pair of cat-eye glasses! These give off a slight Parisian vibe and are chic enough to wear from the office to happy hour. The jet black frame is bold yet neutral enough to pair with a variety of outfits. Plus, I adore the little rose gold detailing along the hinges!

Hughes Glasses

Tortoise shell print will never go out of style and I’m a big fan of the way the pattern makes these glasses “pop.” I reach for this pair whenever I’m wearing a more neutral and streamlined outfit. They complement white, gray, and black clothing perfectly and have a way of breaking up otherwise plain looks.

You can order these in an extra narrow to wide fit and of course can add your own prescription lenses. This style also comes in jet black, a pretty chestnut hue, clear, and a faded green colorway.

Robbie Glasses

I will be the first to admit that these are not the type of glasses I thought I’d ever go for. With that being said, I have the try on feature to thank for getting me to wear these! I was pleasantly surprised by how well they complemented my face shape and I’m pleased to have stepped outside of the box.

Because these have a simple silver frame, they are ideal for everyday wear (and both casual and more dressy occasions.) I also like that the metal frames switch things up from my typical acetate preference.

Langley Glasses

Last but not least, the Langley glasses really blend the best of both worlds. The mixed material makes them unique and eye-catching while the round shape allows your eyes to pop. These are another example of glasses that you could easily wear from work to dinner or a night out. They’re stylish yet not overly attention-seeking.
