What I Ordered vs How They Turned Out: Amazon Resort Wear

I recently got back from spending some time in Brazil, and I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to share my resort wear finds from Amazon with you guys.

I know firsthand that shopping on Amazon can be very hit or miss, especially when it comes to swimwear, coverups, and dresses. However, I did some thorough digging and found some really great pieces that I know will be on rotation for years to come.

Whether you’re packing for a beach vacation or you’re heading on a quick trip that entails lots of pool time, these looks will serve you well. Let’s jump in!

Amazon Resort Wear

Beach to Dinner

You guys, I am loving how versatile these pants are! They’re perfect to wear to the beach as a coverup or you can dress them up and wear them to dinner. They’re super comfortable with the elastic waistband and long enough to wear with heels (I’m 5’5 for reference).

I paired them here with this crochet top which is another Amazon find! Both pieces fit true to size. You can also add some accessories, like this straw summer hat or small hoop earrings to give things even more personality.

Exploring Town

Okay, how gorgeous is this top?! It looks so upscale that I couldn’t believe I found it on Amazon. Sadly, this exact top is sold out but this one is really similar. It has so many pretty little details and would look great with jeans, like I have styled here, or cut-off shorts and flat shoes for a more casual look.

Add a straw crossbody bag for an accessory that is just as practical as it is chic. This one is perfect if you want something that looks cute on vacation but also would work for everyday wear. I also like this clutch-style find and this rattan tote bag.

Lunch Date

This little number from The Drop is so chic! It’s so flattering and I love that you can adjust the straps to show more or less skin. I have this styled for a daytime look but you could easily elevate it for a night time outing as well with the right shoes and accessories! The dress comes in several colors and fits true to size. I’m wearing the extra small.

If you’re looking for another pretty option that’s not as fitted, try this silk dress. I’m also totally obsessed with this cut-out maxi dress (another find from The Drop!) Pair either one with some basic black slides and your go-to sunglasses and you’ll be ready for whatever the day holds.
