I honestly cannot believe how quickly summer flew by, but I am embracing fall with open arms. Besides being excited for crisp mornings, changing of the leaves, and everything festive that comes with the season, I’m really looking forward to diving into all of the 2023 fall fashion trends.
There are so many good trends happening right now, but I selected a few of my favorite ones that I will definitely be getting behind. From tweed jackets to ballet flats, sneakers to bomber jackets, and of course, all the different styles of denim available, I guarantee you’ll be catching me in all of these looks throughout the season.
This is a fall trend I am very excited for. A good tweed jacket is the ultimate classy and timeless piece, especially when paired with a pair of jeans or trousers. With so many good options out there this season, you can’t go wrong.
The simplicity of this ivory tweed jacket makes it look so much more expensive than it really is. You’ll be reaching for this piece all year long.
I could not be more obsessed with the texture on this camel tweed jacket. This color is perfect for fall but it also comes in a black and white combination and a gorgeous baby blue.
The colors on this patterned tweed bomber jacket are what initially drew me in, but it’s the heart shaped buttons that really sold me. I love good detail!
I’m pretty certain it doesn’t get more classic than this textured boucle tweed jacket. I envision this one with cream denim or trousers for a rich look.
I may be getting ahead of myself here, but how perfect is this red tweed jacket for the holiday season? Plus, red is very in right now.
Who doesn’t love a good Amazon find? This cropped tweed jacket is another timeless piece that you could pair with just about anything this fall.
This is a trend I don’t think many people predicted, but I sure am happy to see this one coming back. Besides being a comfortable transition shoe into fall, they truly look cute with just about anything.
These logo band ballet flats are a bit of a spurge but they would be such a versatile shoe despite them being metallic. The dainty bow and logo band add a nice touch of detailing as well.
The dainty heel on these neutral shoes adds a bit of an elevated look to a classic ballet flat.
I’m crushing hard on the slingback flats trend. These pointed toe slingbacks would be so chic paired with denim and the red tweed jacket I mentioned earlier.
I can totally see these leather pointed toe flats being something I would reach for many times throughout the fall. I love the little gold buckle too!
The combination of the black and tan makes these quilted ballerina flats a classic. They could pass as designer shoe, but they’re at a much more affordable price point.
You really can’t go wrong with these square toe ballet flats. The shape gives them a little bit of a unique touch, while still looking feminine thanks to the bow detailing.
So many different styles of denim have been making a splash lately and I’m hoping the trend is here to stay. From denim jackets and shirts to wide leg and cargo jeans, I am loving everything denim is offering this season.
I’m a big fan of the extra baggy straight leg fit of these Levi’s dad jeans. These would be so fun styled with the Adidas Samba sneakers I mention below.
The oversized fit of this denim jacket looks so inviting and cozy. This would be a piece you’d have forever (and would probably wear a lot).
The ever popular 90s pinch waist jeans are a must have in my wardrobe. They are truly the perfect fit and come in just about every wash imaginable.
Cargo pants mixed with denim? Sign me up! These denim cargos not only look comfortable, but are also very trendy this season.
Who says denim has to be blue? This colored oversized denim shirt is the perfect hue for the fall.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good denim jacket in the fall but I was excited to see the bomber jacket trending this season as it’s such a good alternative to denim. It’s the perfect style jacket for a casual night out or for a day of running errands.
The sheen that this bomber jacket has makes it a little different than your classic army green jacket. If you’re looking to be a little more unique, this is the one for you.
The nostalgia this black and white bomber jacket brings is so fun. It’s basic enough to wear with just about anything, but it’s also a step up from a plain black jacket.
I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but something about this boucle jacket is just incredible. It’s unique but somehow still a piece that could be worn with so many different outfits.
This oversized satin bomber jacket is one that could really be dressed up or down. I’m loving the rich cream color, but this one also comes in black if that’s more you.
Combine a leather jacket with a bomber style and the result is stunning. This faux-leather cropped bomber jacket is the ideal piece for those who can’t decide between the two trends.
I can’t stop and won’t stop loving on chocolate brown hues. This bomber jacket is sure to keep you cozy all season long with its faux fur lining.
There are so many good sneaker options out there right now, so it was hard to narrow this section down. The sneakers I chose would be perfect for the fall and even into the winter. They can be paired with jeans, leggings, and even maxi skirts as the temps start to drop.
Samba sneakers have always been a favorite of mine, but they’re especially popular this year. I’m loving this unique green color, which would pair beautifully with denim.
If color isn’t so much your thing, then opting for these beige and white samba sneakers is another great option for the fall.
These New Balance suede sneakers are such a good take on the dad sneaker without being too much. I love the mix of neutral colors on these.
These Nike debut sneakers are perfect for every day wear — they come in so may colors and are all at such a great price point.
I’m all for the velcro sneaker trend and hope it’s one that’s here to stay. The suede and leather combo on these Isabel Marant low top sneakers is just perfect.
How fun are these for a pop of color? I’m loving red this season and could totally see these red gazelle sneakers paired with dark jeans and a black sweater.
These Veja trainer sneakers have such a fun retro feel to them and would be the perfect comfort shoe paired with jeans and an oversized tee for a day of running errands.
