Dior Lip Glow Review

Just in time for Sephora’s big spring sale! Guys, Dior Makeup just released a new color for their all-time fave Dior Lip Glow fam! If you follow me on Insta you’ve been hearing all about these guys since I got them in the mail last week, so today I’ll be dishing about all my finds!

First of all, I couldn’t have asked for a better time to try these guys. Quarantine has me wearing more natural makeup looks and they are the perfect match for these days. That said when I shot these pics for the blog I had a full face of makeup and the Lip Glow didn’t shy away from shining bright! I’m seriously HOOKED!

What are they?

If you’re not familiar with this gem, Dior Lip Glow is a sheer balm that enhances our natural lip color while nourishing and protecting lips. It’s a color-reviver or rather enhancer lip balm that reacts to the unique chemistry of each person’s lips for a natural flush of custom color on each skin tone! Enriched with hydrating mango butter, Dior Lip Glow is the perfect balance between lip color and lip care. My lips look fresh, hydrated, and beaming after each application.

Does it matter what color I pick since they are lip balms?

They come in 7 Shades including original 001 Pink and the new, best-selling hit 012 Rosewood, my latest favorite! I also love Holo Rose Gold for its fun sparkles and for Coral is a great natural lip color choice.

The beauty of Dior Lip Glow, in my opinion, is that you can’t go wrong with any color you pick since each one of them will work differently for everyone, I’m all about having two or three for different occasions!

Is it worth the Hype?

I say ABSOLUTELY, however you don’t have to believe me right away! Sephora has a ton of reviews right HERE, so you can read why other people are loving this little guy too!

My Take:

Pros: I love the combination of lipstick and lip balm, the fact that it is super moisturizing yet delivers a good amount of color. The fact that you can’t go wrong with any color is another plus and can we talk about the packaging? It’s so lux and classy it will be the ultimate companion to bring along in your purse for a touch up after a meal or coffee date!

Cons: it’s pricy for a lip balm, but since it’s not JUST a lip balm I myself can totally justify the purchase. Also, you do have to re-apply it after eating or drinking, it’s not a long-lasting lipstick. (But if I may say, you don’t need a mirror when doing it!)
