Monochromatic Looks for Work and Play

Hi friends and happy Wednesday! We’re half way through the week and it’s been a busy one already! I wanted to share a few new pieces I picked up from Express that I am absolutely obsessed with! I grabbed five matching pieces that are so easy to mix and match for multiple flawless looks that are great for both work and play. I’ve already worn these pieces to a work event and Antonio’s 8th grade graduation (I can’t believe I have another high schooler already!!) and they were so perfect for both occasions. These trousers are flawless, you guys! They’re super high waisted and made of a super comfy satin fabric that feels so nice on the skin. They’re the perfect length to wear with heels (for reference I’m 5’5). These are perfect for work or a night out! I’ve styled them below with the peplum top and the body suit and can’t decide which look I like more! The matching blazer is just as good! It has a cool, sleek fit and the quality it top notch!

This time I swapped the pants out for these tailored shorts. These shorts are perfect for the summer! The fit is so flattering and the length gives some extra modesty. You could wear this outfit for a casual work day, to happy hour, or to lunch with friends!

Satin Peplum Top with Tailored Shorts

For this outfit, I went for a fun, out of office vibe! I am so in love with this ruched peplum top! It’s so beautiful and the perfect little statement top for summer!
