What to Buy From Sephora: Beauty Staples I Swear By at 46

The Products I Keep Coming Back To for That Natural, Lit-From-Within Glow

There are certain products I always come back to.

Over time, my approach to makeup has shifted quite a bit. I’m less interested in covering everything, and more focused on enhancing what’s already there. The goal is always the same, skin that looks fresh, hydrated, and like my skin… just better.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what I use on a daily basis, so I wanted to put everything in one place. These are the beauty staples I reach for over and over again, the ones that give that natural, lit-from-within look without feeling heavy or overdone.

The Base Products That Make Everything Look Better

Everything starts with the skin. I’ve been loving the Dior Face and Body Foundation in 2.5W. It gives that soft, natural coverage that evens everything out without ever feeling like too much. It’s one of those foundations that just melts into the skin and looks better as the day goes on.

For concealer, I keep coming back to the Hourglass concealer in Sienna. It has just enough coverage to brighten under the eyes without feeling heavy, which is something I’ve become much more mindful of.

I also love the Saie concealer for a more lightweight option, especially on days when I want everything to feel a bit more minimal.

For bronzer, the Saie Beauty bronzer in Amalfi has been on repeat. It gives the skin warmth in a really natural way, nothing too harsh, just that soft, sun-kissed finish.

The Products That Add Soft Definition

Once the base is in place, I like to keep everything else very soft and blended.

The Armani liquid eyeshadows in Wood 36 and Cashew 22 have been a favorite. I use them not just on the lid, but also as a subtle liner and even along the lower lash line. It’s one of those products that does more than one thing, which I always appreciate.

For eyeliner, I’ve been using both Dior in brown and the Sephora waterproof liner in matte brown. Brown liner always feels a bit softer than black, especially for everyday.

The Patrick Ta blush in She’s Seductive gives that perfect natural flush. It’s one of those shades that just works.

For brows, the Benefit brow wax in 3.75 has been my go-to. It keeps everything in place without looking too structured, which I prefer.

Mascara, Lips, and the Finishing Touches

Mascara is where I like to add a bit more definition.

I’ve been layering the YSL mascara in brown underneath and finishing with the Iris & Romeo mascara. It creates a really natural, lifted look without feeling too heavy.

For lips, I’ve been rotating between the Gloss Bomb and the Prada lip balm. Both give that soft, hydrated finish that ties everything together.

The Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in Pillow Talk Medium is another staple. It’s subtle, easy to wear, and works with almost everything.

And to set everything, I use the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray, which keeps the skin looking fresh without taking away the glow.

The Products I Keep in My Studio

I like to keep a small edit of products in my office, things that help me refresh quickly before a meeting or heading out.

The Mario hydrating foundation in 14O has been great for this. It gives that dewy, skin-like finish that’s easy to apply and blend. I also keep the Westman Atelier contour stick in Biscuit and the Baby Cheeks in Poppet for quick definition and color. They’re incredibly easy to use and always look natural.

The Patrick Ta Major Dimension palette is perfect when I want to add a bit more depth to the eyes, but still keep everything soft.

For hair, I always have the Living Proof full dry volume and texture spray on hand. It gives just enough lift without feeling heavy.

And the Kérastase Chronologiste overnight serum has been one of those products I use in multiple ways. I’ll apply it at night, but also use a tiny amount during the day to smooth flyaways.

A Few More Finds Worth Trying

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, I recently found that the Natasha Denona foundation has a very similar texture and finish to some of my higher-end favorites.

I’ve also been loving a good set of brushes lately. A quality foundation brush, concealer brush, and a compact face and eye set make such a difference, especially for travel or quick applications.

These are the kinds of pieces that simplify your routine while still elevating the result.

How This All Comes Together

For me, it’s never about using more products. It’s about using the right ones, the ones that work with your skin, enhance what’s already there, and feel easy to wear.

This routine gives me that natural, hydrated look that I always come back to. It’s polished, but still feels like me.
