Mother’s Day Brunch at The Capital Grille

This past Sunday myself and a beautiful group of Indy girl bosses were treated to a preview of the Mother’s Day brunch menu at The Capital Grille in downtown Indy. Needless to say it was feast! Everything from the cutest mimosas to the delicious and gorgeously curated dishes was perfect. From the fun company to the courteous and refined staff, I know any mom will be delighted to experience this special brunch.

Hint hint, if you’re a dad and reading this!!

I chose this lavender lace ChicWish dress to wear to the occasion because it’s girly and feminine, and it has Sunday brunch written all over it!!! The shoes are SJP Shoes from the very first collection, read this post to watch the vlog from years ago when I bought the Maud Sandal and met SJP herself 🙂

Here are a few snaps of the delicious brunch we had. Starting with blueberry pancakes (to die for. They have a special secret to make them extra fluffy, make sure to ask if you go!). We also had steak and pepper and smoked salmon cracker appetizers to start.

They had a mimosa bar with OJ, Pineapple and Cranberry juices along with strawberries, blueberries and blackberries to enhance our drinks!

We were able to order from the full special menu and the chef brought out a sample of each dish featured. I went with Shrimp and Grits (so so good, tasted of New Orleans cajun food in a very delicate way). Here’s the Bone-in Dry Aged NY Strip with Fried Egg and The Grille’s Lobster Frittata (that was the most ordered and looks insane delicious!).

It was such a gorgeous day, we took some shots outside and I was soooo happy to have met Arianna Torres, this local photographer that took all of these amazing shots, and found her little way straight into my heart (well, that’s really not very hard to do! Haha)

I wanted a shot with the Magnolia Boutique ladies because I’m actually working with them in a couple of days! We emailed back and forth last week and I was so happy to meet them in person, accidentally. Britney Heisley (far left, is one of their models and Bethany Armstrong is their Assistant-buyer and stylist. On the far right is Indy’s next top blogger babe Ashley Bell.

All in all it was a wonderful morning in great company and even greater food. To top it off The Capital Grille Indy put together the cutest gift bag ever, for us bloggers and out plus ones! So thoughtful and sweet.
